How Can severe Headache Along With Sore Throat be Treated?

Hello. My wife is experiencing coughing, mild fever (yesterday), slight sore throat, congestion, inability to sleep (e.g. she keeps waking up), upset stomach (e.g. pain), headache, lightheaded, and fatigue. Her appetite has also decreased, and when she feels like she needs to have a bowel movement, she has had loose stools. She feels especially lightheaded when getting up, and her body hurts and feels weak. We will likely take her to Kaiser this evening, but I do wonder if someone might help with a possible diagnosis right now.

Hi,

As per your chief complaint, your mother is suffering from infections from bacterial most likely. Due to that, she feels pain, fatigue, fever and sore throat. It is a common observation that after infections patient feels restless, fatigued as body metabolism and nutritional demands increase.

All she needs to take up antibiotic coverage like Amoxycillin and analgesics like Paracetamol. She also needs to take plenty of liquids, soft diet in meals, soup to be taken.

As soon symptoms of infection subside she will gradually return to normal and can take one or two weeks.
